Speaking Role for John

John Slater really impressed the director this week with his speaking role in a new drama.  He had to speak out infront of a large audience and the production team were very pleased with John’s performance.  John’s showreel is currently being edited by us and should be available to view very soon.  Great stuff John.

William Hill
William Hill

We loved working with William Hill last week on a 1 day shoot around Central London.

Bookmaker William Hill has pulled off an audacious stunt to celebrate the launch of its £50 Million Prem Predictor game – using a specially-constructed transparent truck, the company toured the cash around the streets of London.
The £50 Million prize is the world’s biggest prize ever offered by a bookmaker and to mark the occasion, William Hill toured a loot-loaded lorry around some of London’s most iconic landmarks in a never-seen-before stunt.

You could win £50 Million if you predict how the Premier League will finish, plus there’s a guaranteed £100k to be won from William Hill, the UK’s biggest bookmaker.

Take a look at the William Hill Facebook and YouTube pages for more info.

Watch out for Peaky Blinders 2 which is set to air in Autumn.  Lemon Casting provided many featured and supporting artists on this popular period drama.

BBC Two have unveiled a new teaser and first look image for Peaky Blinders II and it seems Tommy Shelby and his family will be making ‘real money’ in the new series.

Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy has revealed the Shelby’s empire will grow, rapidly, he said: “We reached a point in series 1 where the Peaky Blinders’ empire expanded beyond where the family was when Tommy became the de facto leader.

Creator Steven Knight added: “It’s getting bigger, it’s getting richer and as a result of that it’s getting more dangerous. The gang are entering areas of even greater jeopardy. And anyone like Tommy who is so good at what he does will attract dangerous people and he has to use his skills and his wits to survive.

It was recently reported that new addition Tom Hardy will be joining the cast and crew for series 2. The Bronson and Inception actor’s appointment was announced on the show’s Twitter page.

Hardy will play a “charismatic leader” who offers a deal to Shelby.

The move reunites Hardy with his Locke writer and director Steven Knight, who created Peaky Blinders and is writing all six episodes of the new series.

* Peaky Blinders’ second series will air at the on BBC Two in autumn 2014
